Yosemite 2011

My son and grandson went with me to Sequoia and Yosemite.  Yosemite had an abundance of water which brought on lots and lots of tourists.  We kept our stay short and decided to come back later in the year when it isn't so crowded.  Here are a few of the pics I took.

Nora Claire

Just finished this acyclic paintin of my nephew's little girl, Nora Claire.  Of course, I think it looks better in person, but, I might not be finished with it when I take a look at it in the day light.  It's hard to tell where it needs a little tweaking in low light, so I'll wait until morning before I make a decision.  I have to thank my teacher, Judy for all the help she gave me with the face.  By now I think she has had about 6 or 7 nose jobs.

Over last weekend I was at my nieces home in San Clemente CA.  She had the most unusual Iris I've ever seen.  It was orange.."who knew."
