Fall Leaf in Winter

I finished a painting today.. I mean I really finished.  This painting had several finishes because I was never happy with how it looked.  Well today I'm not going to mess with it anymore.  This is it.  But it actually looks better in person. Photographing does not do it justice for some reason.  It started out as a watercolor, but now it is part acrylic. Don't know where the blue came from.

Anniversary

It was our 50th wedding anniversary, and my kids came out to help us celebrate.  We all had a great day. Here we all are at the Goleta Butterfly Preserve.
