Spring has sprung!

My Orchid didn't bloom last year, but here it is today.  Is this a good sign?

I almost threw this painting out.  It started out as a watercolor, and I just hated it. It was sooo bad.
Then decided to take out the old acrylics and go over it.  Now I don't hate it anymore, I just dislike it.
But it does have me wanting to do something else in acrylic.
