Latest Pastel Work of Art

My favorite time of year is Autumn.  I love the colors ....browns, orange, yellow and reds.  This picture is mostly orange.  It is of a river in the Smoky Mountains. (one of my favorite places to visit).

We went up to Sequoia National Park this weekend so I could take pictures of the fall leaves.  But, to my disappointment only a few leaves had turned, and believe it or not that was at the bottom.  Plus, it rained most of the day.  We need rain so badly down here in Southern California, only wish I could have had it follow us home.  Took a few pics in the rain, take a look:

This picture was taken at High Tide August 29 2014.   Storm was brewing out in the Pacific bringing us "Big" waves.

Just finished another pastel.  I learn something new with each painting. Hopefully sometime in the near future I'll do better.  But for now it's just fun to keep on trying
