Newest painting!

Just finished my latest painting.  Started out in watercolor, but things weren't going the way I intended, so I changed to acrylics.  I'm not too sure (as usual) if I like it, but maybe it'll grown on me or maybe it'll grown on somebody else. 

I haven't named it yet, does anybody have an idea.

My First Fruit

For Mother's Day last year my son gave me a tangerine tree.  Low and behold I have all of three tangerines.  I think they still have a way to go before I bite into them.  Take a look............

Spring is around the corner!

Looked out of the window this morning and what did I see, but my iris in bloom.  Just planted them last fall and didn't expect them to bloom until maybe March or April.  We have had a little cooler than normal winter this year --- so who knows what happened.

Merry Christmas

Christmas Cookies

For Christmas this year, I decided not make a bunch of different cookies.  I went with the all time favorite "Chocolate Chip."  Everybody loves them, and I never seem to have enough.  So this year that's all I made!

California Liquid Snow

Here in California our snow comes in the liquid form.  But, the good thing is -- if it really snowed we wouldn't have roses in the middle of December.
