The Good Ole Days

I came across this picture on line today, and boy did it bring back memories.  My Mom took me to have a perm when I was about 4 or 5 years.  I cried during almost the whole process.  I can remember them bribing me with an ice cream cone just to shut me up.  And, the smell was horrific!

Santa Barbara Flowers

Went again today looking for wild flower.  No such luck.  But, I did find some flowers in a park in Santa Barbara.  Take a look!

I love this red and white rose.  It reminds me of peppermint --- good enough to eat!

Wheeler Canyon

My husband and I went for a little ride today to try and find wild flowers without going far from home.  Well it looks like we're going to have to travel a bit to find some real wild flowers.  But, here are a couple of pics I took today.  The only flowers I found were a few mustard flowers.

I really liked this tree.  I think it must have been here a long time.  Not sure what kind of tree it is.

Above is the closest I got to any wild flower today.  Not too pretty!
